I was going to go, but I really only want to see Slipknot and Hatebreed, so I'm just going to see them in Knoxville instead. A decent lineup still though.

So, yeah.  Last one I went to was the AIC year so I could finally see them and cross another item off the bucket list.

Halestorm is decent, but I haven't liked a girl metal band since Evanescence.

The crowd did sick last year, but their were also some cool dudes.

And to the people that go just for the music, this may not be your year. I went last year and was pleasantly surprised by a couple bands. I had never heard of Trivium and they put on a good show. I had only heard one song of Alter Bridge's, but now they're one of my favorite bands. They killed their set.

I don't see anyone this year that will put on a set like that. Maybe Korn or Slayer, but they're both way past their prime (I'm not big on Slayer anyway). I'm a fan of Godsmack, but I don't want to pay 130 dollars just for them and maybe Breaking Benjamin.

Best girl metal band is by far Otep. First two CDs are fuging amazing. I saw her at Ozzfest when she was just starting out. I will never forget that concert, she was great.

Kittie was great live too before they got too hardcore. (First Cd only)

I don't really give a poo about the crowd. I'll scope out some chicks to go chill with and take home for the night, but I don't mosh or try and fight my way into the crowd to be smashed between four ballsacks just to get closer.

And fug $130...I got two full weekend passes on Craigslist for $120. If my buddy won't go I'm going to sell one for $80-100 and go for 20 fuging bucks.

And it is just Geoff Tate and other dudes(like from Whitesnake and Ratt) basically doing Queensryche songs.

I remember seeing them open for Metallica on the And Justice for all tour and were flawless and really made Metallica seem sloppy and not very rehearsed.

QR are as classic metal as it gets imo. They just suck azz now bc the best musicians in the band broke up with their lead singer.
