According to John Czarnecki at Fox, Montgomery is not at all pleased with his situation after losing the starting job to Haynesworth, and Czarnecki notes that the Panthers would be a good landing spot if a trade could be worked out. He's 6-6, 320.

Nothing really to add here. Just wanted to put it out there for others that may have an opinion or better understanding of his capabilities.

Like with all ideas $$$$$ will have to be looked at First. The Panthers will have to look at what it would cost future picks / $$$$$ If they would be able then they look at the Talent or improvement it would bring.

I guess he can just get rid of the scouting department and just read the newspapers and articles.

Hurney used to be a sports journalist, so I'm sure he's already considered it. He's probably also considering firing Fox and Delhomme and bringing in Cowher and drafting a quarterback early next year.

Really, people: do you not think that Hurney keeps himself abreast of all the goings on in the National Football League? Do you also not think he has a greater understanding of the team's needs and what it can afford than we do?
