Cracka McNasty's Cream your pants 2015 Fanspeak Draft

Somehow, someway this is what I ended up with. All were BPA on my board in the round I drafted in. Got bored at work and there's no new news.

 

 

25: R1P25 WR DEVANTE PARKER LOUISVILLE  

Of course this will never happen, but it's nice to dream right? Parker is big, fast, and High points the ball well. He’s a legitimate vertical threat and potential stud WR. No brainer pick.

 

57: R2P25 RB TEVIN COLEMAN INDIANA

Best player on the board in a position of potential need. Will spell Stewie. Needs to work on ball security but a solid low to the ground back.

 

89: R3P25 CB ALEX CARTER STANFORD

Tall Corner that has the frame teams covet. Tough and good in run support.

 

124: R4P25 OT DONOVAN SMITH PENN STATE

WE FINALLY TAKE AN OT!!! And he’s pretty damn good too. Unfortunately it has been said he has a case of the Otahs and will need someone to look over his work ethic/eating habits. Either way, it’s only a 4^th round pick not a first we traded up to use so I’m fine with chancing on the kid. If he works out we have a future starting tackle.  

 

161: R5P25 WR JUSTIN HARDY EAST CAROLINA

The Huddle Messiah – Justin Hardy. I personally don’t think he will last this long, but Christ, I couldn’t not take him. Great route runner, great hands, but undersized and more quick than he is fast. Great potential as a slot receiver. I’d be thrilled if we got him.

 

169: R5P33 DT RAKEEM NUNEZ-ROCHES SOUTHERN MISS Knew nothing about this kid until I drafted him. Apparently he’s from Belize and worked part time throughout high school to help pay the bills with his mom. He is in school for Bio-sciences so he’s no dummy. Wants to be a vet if the football doesn't work. Kid has heart and he’s a 5^th round pick that could take over for one of our aging DTs in the next few years

 

174: R5P38 CB CRAIG MAGER TEXAS STATE

Double dipping that CB – Good sized CB at 5’11”, Everything I read about this kid I like. Ran a 4.44 40 and has helped to raise his two younger sisters with his Grandmother since he was 15. Grandmother just passed away last year. Accountable, smooth athlete, good tackler, I’d be thrilled if we took him at any point in the draft.

 

201: R6P25 S CLAYTON GEATHERS UCF

Great intangibles and has bloodline in the NFL. Slow 40 made him drop in the draft, but kid has confidence and potential.

 

242: R7P25 FB JALSTON FOWLER ALABAMA

It’s a Fullback. Nothing sexy here, but Tolbert is older than some people think and didn't have a very productive year even when he was healthy last year. Would obviously replace the Tolldozer and in doing so would free up cap space that Hurney threw at another RB.

There are enough good OT's in this draft to get a good one at 25, and I think Gman will take one unless an exceptional BPA drops that far. Smith, Hardy, and Roches will probably be gone, but Coleman and Carter are possibilities.

I took DJ Humphries in the second spot. And Trae Waynes in the first.

Which suggests their personal big board is a bit flawed.

I used the option that combined all the big boards. figured it would be the most "Accurate".

 

Then I drafted Parker. 

 

I stand by my decision.

Coleman can not only run the ball, but block and catch too. Don't see him dropping out of the 2nd. Don't see DJ available in the 2nd either, and Waynes should be gone long before the 25th pick.

Donovan Smith was invited to the draft, that usually means he will go in first two rounds.  PFT, had him in the first on their mock draft.
