I'm not on either side as I know nothing about Funchess. If DG drafts him then I'll trust in the choice. I was just saying if we do draft him and he sucks then you wouldn't want to be bumping that post...

as for Funchess, i hope we dont draft him. but Gman has given me no reason to argue with his picks. if Funchess puts on a Carolina draft hat, i will trust in Gman's inner the talent evaluator.

He's not accurate on his deep passes to Jerricho Goddamned Cotchery. However he routinely hit Ginn, KB, and Brown, Smith, et al.

You haven't seen Cam routinely miss those players you mentioned on deep throws? Or they had to come back to the ball? Because I watch every snap and noticed it frequently enough to bring it up here.

If we do end up drafting Funchess I hope he ends up doing great. No point in ever hoping someone does bad. Unless of course they play for the Saints. If Gman sees something in the young man then I am on board.

I don't see Funchess as a WR. I've seen people try to compare Kelvin Benjamin with him, but Funchess doesn't get the separation, have the quality of hands or have elusive speed like Benjamin. Funchess to me is a late 2nd early 3rd round TE.

Being an Ohio State fan I would find it hard to even draft the guy... But if I had to I'd get him in the 3-4 round area.
