as if there haven't been a ton of NFL players who were all about using their status to broadcast their religious beliefs going back decades anyway

He's a terrible player. He doesn't even complete 50% of his passes. And yet people cry about Cam because he's right at 60%. He's not even a good runner because he fumbles so much. He just flat out sucks.

The Golden Calf of Bristol wasn't even that great in college. People don't seem to remember how ridiculously loaded Florida was during the Meyer/The Golden Calf of Bristol era. Those teams were far superior to even other SEC schools. It wasn't hard for Tebøw to rack up insane numbers when his entire offense was NFL players. And not just NFL players, NFL All Pros.

RB- Chris Rainey

WR- Percy Harvin, Louis Murphy

TE- Aaron Hernandez

OL- Mike Pouncey, Maurice Pouncey

And the defense on those teams was just as loaded. (McDonald, Haden, Jenkins, Hill, Spikes, etc)

Tebøw put up huge numbers and won a lot of games in college, but just how much of that was him? In the NFL, with an even playing field, he flat out sucks. I'd bet that just about any big, strong no-name college QB that can run would've dominated on those UF teams.
