Well, with 3 teams in town for the better part of 50 years (plus Flames and Thrashers) I'd hope eventually the odds would be in your favor.

You're also good at it and contribute well in this part of the board. But you can't deny that taking six games to eliminate a bad Nets team is at least a little disconcerting.

Of COURSE the grit and grind teams do well in the playoffs the year the Hornets have a combined billion games missed for injury and Al Jefferson remembered he was not Hakeem Olajuwon.

More last year than this year, but there were moments where we made it happen. The peak was the home and home sweep of this Wizards team punctuated by a sequence where we got three or four consecutive offensive rebounds to close the game out, but of course a couple games later MKG gets injured in Philly and everything fell apart after that.

This is the style the Hornets want to play, the difference is Memphis is talented. Charlotte...isn't.

This MEM/GS was great to see MEM take it. 

 

The refs really held the Warriors hand in the 4th quarter with a pretty obvious rig attempt...

 

Tons of phantom fouls, GS shot 19 FTs(the real number is 18, but Curry got a second chance at one he missed because a "ref was still in the lane"...yeah right. He missed on right after though. Ball don't lie ) in that single quarter after shooting only 10 for the first three. NBA was really blantant with not wanting to Golden Boys to go down 2-1. Not to mention they missed 3-4 Green over the backs, a Tony Allen and-1, and a Thompson travel. Refs were just awfully biased in that fourth.

 

Grizz still pulled it out though. Makes it even more impressive.

It's a building process...

What I find funny is how most fans bash MKG and call him a bust and that we aren't going anywhere with him.

SA won the title last year anchored by Leonard.

Mem is the favorite to win this year anchored by Allen.

MKG is a younger version of those guys.

This is true, but:

Parker, Ginobili, Duncan are HOF.

Conley, Randolph, Gasol are All-Stars.

The defensive wing is absolutely a crucial piece, but he needs to be your third or fourth best player when all is said and done. MKG being so important is more of an indictment of the talent around him than anything else.
