Three 5th Round Picks

We have seen Gettleman only trade up once to go get Bene. Do you think he will package one of our 5th rounders to move up in the 3rd or 4th round somewhere to get a guy he covets- or will we stay pat and get three 5th round gems?

Looking at our roster, it seems impossible to make room for 9 rookies.  I would not be opposed to trading multiple picks to move up if someone we like is in danger of being selected.

Can take our 4th and 5th rounds picks and swap it for a late 3rd round (unlikely) / early 4th round pick.

I think we definitly move up, whether it's with one of the fifths or another pick.

Seems more logical to move up and get a guy high on the board as opposed to seeing who falls and drafting nine rookies.

The more you play the lotto the more chances you have to win!  And this aint nearly as random as the lotto.  G-man knows the numbers he just has to time it right.

 

I'll take 9 G-man rooks over the field please.

I'd need to check that pick value chart but if a really good talent drops to the 3rd and is available in the 75-85 pick range, we could use it to jump up and get someone we really like.

Over his first two years Gettleman brought 35 rookies into camp despite only having 11 picks between both 2013 and 2014. We may or may not use all 9 picks, but with 19 spots available I expect we'll fill most with rooks.

According to the draft trade value chart, our 4th and 5th round picks (picks #124 and #161) hold a combined value of 75 (48+27). That would allow us to move up to the range of the 108-111 (valued between 72 and 78). So in other words, trading our original fifth would allow us to move up about 15 spots in the fourth round.

Will definitely move up, no room on the roster for 9 rookies. Pretty sure Getty has his eyes on some he knows won't be drafted.
