My favorites -

Dragon's Milk - New Holland

Barrel Aged Boris - Hoppin' Frog

Storm King - Victory Brewing

Six Impossible Things - Mystery (the first year, when quality ingredients were used)

Three Philosophers and Adoration - Ommegang

90 min IPA - Dogfish Head

 

 

All of which I could get before moving to Abu Dhabi for a job. No craft beer here, only Coors, Corona and crap from Europe, Asia and Australia (not quality beer from those regions)

Holy poo do I have an awful story about sambuca...

 

 

LOL, I hear ya- I plan on writing a book one day about my bad experiences with Sambuca. It's going to be 666 pages long.

Holy poo do I have an awful story about sambuca...

Here is a 5 story shot (5 glasses tall)of flaming death. Sambuca, Jäger, and absinthe. Did it on the streets of Mexico and was in a 2 day blackout after that. If it wasn't for my girlfriend I never would have made it back to the resort and surely would have joined a Mexican drug cartel that night. Went back there a few months ago and much to the delight of my GF, they are no longer allowed to make it.
