Seems like they cut this trailer as a response to folks saying it looked too gloomy. One-liner after one-liner.

 

I want this movie to be awesome, but damn it looks so cheesy.

agree completely.

It seems they gave away a lot of the story as well:

-Lex pits Bat vs Sups

-Bats doesn't kill Sups

-Lex creates Doomsday with Zod's corpse

-Wonder Woman shows up when Doomsday wilds out

-the three team up to defeat Doomsday

I hate Snyder's Lex, thus far. And Doomsday looks dreadful. He reminds me of a LOTR cave troll. I did love the dialogue between Clark and Bruce however. That was on fugging point. The action appears to be epic too.

Damn sure looks like a gun, like a shotgun of some kind. Only thing I ever see bats shoot is his grappling hook. Well he is fighting over powered bad guys so ill cut him some slack.

DC has done a lot right. They're taking their properties and giving them to artists. James Wan, Zack Snyder, David Ayer,  and Ben Affleck are all amazing film makers. Marvel has made me completely uninterested in Capeshit, DC is my only hope now.

I'm the biggest Batman fan boy there is. Only comics I own are batman. With that being said, this is suppose to be a 'soft' Justice League movie. The reason for that being DC/WB had dropped the ball for years now as marvel has built and expanded their MCU into the most successful movie franchise in the modern era. DC has to play serious catch up for years of incompetence so that is why we are seeing a rush to introduce three heroes in one movie instead of being able to devote and develop stories the normal way. 

 

I dont know why adults who grew up as kids reading comics are now suddenly pulling the ladder up behind them when comic book movies come out and are like "nope sorry kids, these superhero/comic book movies arent for you! They are for me so if anything is marketed or aimed at younger audiences I will flip my poo and rage how everything is watered down trash cause I'm a big baby"

Hated the choice of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

After seeing this...hate it even more.

And now also hate the direction they're taking the character. This Luthor comes off more like a knock off of the Dark Knight's Joker than he does the comics Lex Luthor.

Im surprised by the amount of Bat fanboyism in here. I thought that I was the only one lol. I dug the trailer. The only thing that has me concerned is Eisenburg as Lex. It's just such a different take on the character that i'm not sure how I feel about it just yet. Trying to hold off until I see the film. Affleck as Bats/Bruce looks awesome. He looks like the animated version of the character from the old cartoon. 

If anyone thought the entire movie was going to be about Bats vs Supes, then iunno what you were thinking. From the very first announcment of the film, you knew that this was going to set up the Justice League and follow a formula. Bats doesn't trust supes because he's an alien and has the power to destroy the human race with no one being able to stop him. Supes doesnt like Bats because of his harsh methods and lurking and the shadows and doing his Batman thing. They fight. Meanwhile Lex is pulling the strings behind all of it and is the main antagonist. Wonder Woman comes into mediate. Bigger threat forces them together and they realize they all want to protect humanity/earth. BOOM Justice League. 

 

The main draw is seeing the DC trinity on screen together for the first time ever. Psyched to see this movie.

I don't think anyone thought it was really Batman vs Superman, but to just come out and show it's a stupid title in the trailer doesn't make sense.   Doomsday looks stupid like a Lord of the Rings troll.

Not sure what to expect.  I think Superman guy is great as Superman and Affleck should be ok, but it's the writing that I worry about.
