KB- for obvious reasons.

MORE THAN LIKELY (IMO)

Ginn- despite what many believe, he was a part of why we went to the playoffs the year before last. He made plays on offense and greatly improved our field position. Both took huge shots with his departure. Unless he has lost a serious step, I say he stays. I'm not sure they would drop Ginn even if they double dip. (I see Cotch and Bersin gone before Ginn) Always have to watch for pre-season cut-downs from other teams too.

PRETTY SURE

Boykin- he proved he can play in this league at receiver, and he was behind some very talented receivers in GB. Unless everyone forgot, our STs was HORRIBLY DISTURBING last year. I'm not saying he is WR #3, but he makes it I believe.

PROBABLE

Brown- unless we double-dip, you will probably see Brown. But he contributes very little on STs and is injury prone.(gotta see if packing on some muscle helps here) But he is a serviceable receiver. No reason he is gone if we can't replace him with better.

Cotchery- vet presence. They may want Cotch here for draft pick/picks.

Let me explain this..

The stuff you can't teach like 4.2 speed and 6'4 size he has..

The stuff you can teach route running, catching the ball .. He needs to work on..

So he has upside because no matter how good a coach you have... He can't teach Bersin to run 4.2 fast and he can't teach Philly to be 6'4..

Ok give me a stop watch and a ruler; I'll be your best scout.

1. Not defending him.. All I said was if Ricky can teach him how to catch and run routes (which can be learned and improved) than the natural "god giving gifts" of speed and size gives him the most upside.. No WR on the team can combine the speed size equation that he has..

2. Bersin knew the offense and has been here for a few years.. So he was trusted more than a guy brought in halfway thru TC.. Who already has a problem learning a playbook. .

Routes...yes, that can be taught and improved upon throughout a WR's career.

 

 

Hands....that is an entirely different thing all together.  Some guys do develop better hands, but from what I've seen, and read....they are what they are.

 

KB will probably always have inconsistent hands.  That's not a lock, but that's why he fell as far in the draft as he did.

Last season the team at times didn't even look like a respectable nfl team. Out right embarrassing. But I can't wait for camp and the surprises who will rise like cream.

It's a bit much to make that claim after only his first season. He's got a long career ahead.

 

Many of those drops last year were concentration. I think he was trying to do too much too fast as well, trying to make plays, just overthinking it a bit. We put KB in a tough spot, coming in as the #1 WR in our offense, all things considered, 1,000 yards and 10 TD's was pretty damn impressive.
