Rotoworld ranks Gettleman 9th best GM in NFL

Mr. Scot

The only people that believe they don't...............are Saint fans.

Yes, a former Executive of the Year and GM of a Super Bowl champion team is one and the same as a journalist by trade who got into football front offices as a PR guy.

I know its fun to imagine all football guys are one and the same, but they're not. Hurney should have never been a GM of a professional sports organization. Mickey Loomis has a degree in accounting and a masters in sports administration. He successfully manages two professional sports organizations.

Nothing alike. Period.

He has never pied anything.

Doesn't believe in it.

Basically correct, though I might not go so far as to say I "don't believe in it". I have nothing against it.

It's just a matter of personal preference. If I have a compliment to give someone, I'd rather just say it.

I think scot just said it was arguably the best in franchise history and that's it.

Our esteemed Mr Igo actually said it before I did. but what he was talking about was the entire rookie class, not just the draft picks.

And yes, I do think a pretty good argument could be made for that.

Kind of early for any best of anything talk. Cant compare those guys to guys who have proven to be mainstays in the NFL.

That class may turn out to be the best in franchise history, but that determination is a long way off.

When I look at drafts in general, I can't help but think of the best.

And of course is the greatest of all time, the 1974 Steelers with Webster, Lambert, Swann and Stallworth.

By putting things in perspective, perhaps people will calm down and slow their roll.
