I'm not sure this has been noted yet, but Leonard was listed as running with the THIRD string on the depth chart on the official Browns web site.

Concerns?

They're 3-4 though. So that only means Shaun Rogers and someone else was ahead of him.

Actually, he was playing DE in the Browns' 3-4 scheme on the left side behind Kenyon Coleman and Roberie Smith.

Maybe, just maybe, he can flourish at his natural position of DT in a 4-3.

Hey, what round was Kemo, the guy we're looking to replace, drafted in?

All many of us are saying is he might be a serviceable player in his natural 4-3 position. Let's see what happens, that's all.

Not sure if he started getting more playing time or what towards the end of the season but he had 16 tackles in the last 4 games last year (6 against Pittsburgh). Thats a 4 tackle a game average and if you put that on a 16 game schedule that is 64 tackles which would be a big accomplishment for a DT. I know I'm reading A LOT into this and stats don't mean much but the potential that this guy has in our defense is pretty decent. Plus he is young so he will only get better, he's cheap, and we will use a pick that we would probably use on a practice squad player. I feel good about it.

One question I have is if they're planning on using him as a two-gap or one-gap player. I hope it's two-gap, but Meeks hasn't done that in the past.

I'm not completely sold on this guy. Since he was about to be cut we probably only gave up a 6th or 7th for him (I hope, at least). I'd still like to see us bring in another DT.
