Panthers Trade for DT!!!!!

The Panthers have traded for Cleveland DT Louis Leonard, sending an undisclosed draft pick to the Browns for the 25-year-old who was miscast in the Browns' 3-4.

Leonard played 16 games for Cleveland last year. He began his career in St. Louis in 2007 as an undrafted rookie from Fresno State, and was picked up by the Browns after cuts.

The 6-foot-4, 325-pounder should compete for immediate playing time here, and if he picks up quickly, a starting job isn't out of the question.

I like it! Big body, not great stats, but with an opportunity to start, he should do pretty well. Plus he'll be going against what is presently a pretty shaky Pittsburgh O-line for a quick confidence builder.
