Here's another stressor and something that pisses me off about today's world of applying to jobs online:

I've applied to some 50+ jobs online. I've heard before that often times jobs are already filled and that companies have to post the positions just as a formality. Well I have been emailing the right people just reiterating my interest in the position and introducing myself essentially... multiple times now I have got back responses saying "Sorry, but the position has already been filled." One employee even said it was filled "last week" meaning they had their guy/girl hired before it was even posted. Frustrated is an understatement right now. I'm guessing all 50 of the college football jobs I have applied for are already filled or the operations/administrative side of the football program already has someone in mind. Just feels like a lose/lose.

My name being attached to bad science. Other leads at work not understanding that an endowed institute doesn't mean we give poo away for free/we still have a bottom line. The new Star Wars movie premiering when I'm out of the country at a conference.

I admit my life isn't really stressful.

I'm a middle school teacher, so there is always some parent mad at me about something.

I show up for my 9am flight from LA to Houston and as I'm self checking in, it tells me my flight is canceled. I am a speaker at a convention tomorrow morning and I was planning on using the afternoon to buy supplies for my booth. Now I won't get in until 9pm.

I'm stressed out sitting in this airport.
