Moving on from Manziel?

Mr. Scot

It's bad when undrafted Connor Shaw outplays first-round pick Manziel, racking up praise from his teammates and from his opponent (the Ravens) about his toughness after spending the year on the scout team. Can't really see Manziel coming back and starting as the organization seems to be tired of his antics.

He hasn't even played two full games. Rehab aside you can't call him a bust. He has yet to really be given a chance

With the competition for starting QB being Brian Hoyer and Connor Shaw, that's all the opportunity he could have ever wanted. He just couldn't take advantage of it because he's that bad.

Was Brian hoyer a rookie qb learning a new system? No. The competition for that job wasn't at all equal. Rookie qbs need time to develop. It wasn't a secret Johnny needed developing as a pocket passer coming out of the draft. The Browns wanted hoyer simply because he had more experience. He ended up losing his job due to shitty play.

You don't even have enough NFL film on manziel to claim that he is good or bad

i don't need to see any more from him to know he'll continue to suck.

At best, he'll develop intona good backup qb, but rhat is at least three seasons away if he started applying himself the moment he got out of rehab.

Really? You are just a psychic and see into the future of someone's career? Or maybe you are just some ace professional scout?

Oh wait. You're just a guy on a message board.

Cg on writing a kid off before he's even had 20 drives in real games. You're a genius.

this post of yours, could easily be about you, too.

Thanks though.

Being a fan of the NFL for almost 40 years, earns a bit of experience and wisedom.

Football is not in Johnny's heart.

To him, it has always been about the money.

Plus his size strongly suggests that he'd never complete an NFL season healthy.

Now, you could be right, cause i am not a scout.

Although I'll bet you I'll be more right about this than you ever will be.
