Why is it that some of you huddlers are fixated on..

The three cone drill is one of the most important drills for a WR and almost all positions. It is the test that best quantifies short area quickness and change of direction. In everything except 9 and deep post routes, it is the drill that best translates to how open a WR is going to get.

Oh look, another "look at me" thread. Dude, do you really think that you really just educated anyone? I bet that you seriously do, and that's the worst part.

When drafting a WR in the NFL speed doesn't matter guys. Keep right on listening to a guy that proclaims himself as awesome. Pffff your arrogant tone makes me want to puke

OH SNAP!

Maybe you should go puke and then take a little time out. It might serve you well to not get so upset.

Like LG stated is part of formula.

Before this, I'll say jerry rice had joe cool, young, and gannon(not fair but still). And a genius that invented a offense that completely changed the nfl. Mix that with his work elthic and you have the goat. Perfect storm.

Injuries happen and when they do on the lower half, you lose speed. If you start out very fast and lose some, you're still fast. You're average and lose some, you're out of league. You can run perfect routes, perfect hands, non-diva and super football smart...... but your best 40 is 4.87. It will not matter cause you'll never get open. In 2.5 seconds he must be able to get open, or the QB is getting sacked.

But no matter what you aren't playing long in the NFL without hands and route running. Technique and smarts get you open just as well if not better than pure speed.

Anyone would kill for Antonio Brown but his 4.56 time wold have disqualified him among many here. Yet he's head and shoulders above Mike Wallace.
