Goldson is a product of the 49ers D and was grossly overpaid, he was mediocre as hell.

But god I hope they start Conte. Conte is Nakamura bad.

Not going to lie, I thought Barron was going to be good. Dude has speed and hit like a dump truck in college.

 

i was kind of pissed when the bucs nabbed him.  then i had another "dammit hurney" moment when we selected luke.  i actually took to facebook and bitched that we just spent a top ten pick on a backup linebacker.  with barron off the board i wanted dontari poe or fletcher cox bad.

 

additionally the coaching staff and hurney reportedly both loved barron so it's one of those happy coincidences i guess.
