Panthers dine with Shaq Thompson

Thomas Davis has endured three knee repairs as well and we got gaffed on run defense.

this guy understands both sides of the ball as far as the rushing game goes and is smooth in transition and movement.

he could play in the role of Chancellor and is as versed in the nuances of both offense and defense.

we got killed by the rush last season and he could be a long-term replacement moving up to taking over SLB once TD hangs 'me up.

yes, we need An OT and a WR bad, but there won't be an OT ready to play this upcoming season and the draft is loaded with WR.

Shaq is a commodity and baller, he's ready to roll and you have to ask yourself if a Chancellor/TD type of player, if available, would be worth the risk of passing up if you had the chance to draft one.

that ^ was a question I asked earlier in this thread...can he catch the ball.

question answered...he's a football player with ball skills and versed in both offensive and defensive sets..and multiple defensive positions.

He's also a wrecking ball on ST.

he is used to return punts as well...I mean seriously?

Yea, he was a standout player in all three phases of the game while at Washington. Played QB for a few games in HS too. As well as being a good enough Center Fielder to be drafted by the Red Sox.

That's^ some imcredible closing speed. Shaq attack! That was like a one yard gain and zero gain after the catch.

imagine Luke being free to wreak havoc across the line of scrimmage and TD hitting the gaps while Shaq covers receivers underneath.

can't be a bad thing and could be an elite of the elite, devastating middle defense to go along with our menacing DLine.
