So what is your order for WR?

False. For those of us that have been following the draft and its prospects closely, Perriman has been pegged as a late first/early second round prospect since prior to the combine. He couldn't compete at the combine due to injury. If he had, he would have likely been grouped with the likes of Parker, DGB, and Strong as the next best crop after White and Cooper since late February. Because his pro day was recent and a good while after the combine, he is getting a late surge compared to many of the other receivers because he was unable to participate in Indianapolis in front of the world on NFL Network. He has improved every year of his college career despite losing a top 5 QB in Bortles prior to his last season. He is a physical specimen at 6'2" 215lbs. with a 4.24 40 and 36+ vertical that is a fluid athlete and displays the ability to eat up cushions in coverage and explode past defenders in the secondary. He's a natural with the ball in his hands and has another gear and shows patience to gain big yards after the catch. People dog his route running and hands in particular but that didn't stop Carolina from drafting Kelvin who happened to play with a Heisman winner and future #1 overall selection at QB. Brandt, Cosell, and Mayock all believe his hands problems to be overblown as he didn't drop a pass in the last four games of his college career and caught the ball well at his pro day. The media is just now coming around really strong because prior to his combine, he looked like a great athlete and freak on tape but after his pro day, he's an even better athlete than they all thought. He is exactly what this offense needs as a big, fast, deep threat that can win over the top and after the catch. He made some spectacular catches in his career and averaged over 20 yards a catch with a QB that didn't have a great deep ball whatsoever. Carolina hasn't had a chance to get an athlete like this at the receiver position who actually produced in college, got better every year, and is a natural hands-catcher. If Ricky can help mold Kelvin into a 1,000 yard rookie, who shared similar concerns coming out, then I see no reason why he cannot do the same with Perriman.

Late first, since when? I know about him in the second with Sammie Coates but first I've been following this poo since before the season was over and I never saw perriman in the first. And did Bortles really deserve to be top 5 or was that the big Ben comparison? Man the Second his fine but all of a sudden he's really the 9 best prospect by Mel Kiper. We all know how accurate Mel has been.

Perriman was getting a surge back in January and February.  The story is no longer online apparently, but here is a quote from the Charlotte Observer's J. Jones from mid February:

Breshad Perriman, WR, Central Florida: Perriman has generated more buzz than perhaps any other prospect in the past month. A Central Florida standout, Perriman has the size at just under 6-foot-3 as well as the stats after averaging more than 20 yards per catch in his final two seasons. A good testing day at the combine could make him a first-round pick.

Several national media draftniks basically admitted that they overlooked evaluating Perriman, but Brandt and Mayock said that they wouldn't be surprised if Perriman is drafted in the first round well before his pro day. They weren't the only ones projecting a possible first round selection.  Of course his lightning speed probably cemented his place in the discussion.

finding a big target with a wide catch radius has to be taken into consideration during the evaluation process in order to complement Cams arm.furthermore the big recievers are usually better at blocking based on physicality alone, and this also is beneficial to Cam since he is one of the best read option QBs in the league.

so here are five targets that i believe would best suit Cam,and address our need for speed

first and second round picks who realisticlly have an opportunity to be there at #25 and beyond:

DGB

Devin Smith

Perriman

latter round picks:

Tyrell Williams (6.55/3 cone drill)

Darren Waller

I still don't have a great feel of the ranking, too much change with pro days/other infro/tape.

I can say if there's a game tomorrow and I need to pick a WR, its cooper, no question. White may need a couple years before he "gets" it or busts out of the league. I'm not sold on him, one year wonder, transfer, don't see the insane combine/pro-days numbers on tape etc.

Dgb, I'm 99.999999567% sure he's off the panther board. He's got everything, imo. Just too risky for me, unless he could sale me on his new found non-arrest self. You get in trouble without money, it get faaaaaaaaar worse once you get millions.

I do like strong and parker, I hope perriman, dgb, or other are drafted ahead so there's a chanced @ 25 for either.

The others are in the late 1st/2nd grey area, funny I like agholor as the leader of tier three.
