Someone Explain This Chart To Me

I think it's saying Cleveland mathematically should have the best draft based on where they pick and the number of picks they have

this.

using this chart (or a variant that account for comp picks) it shows the total "value" of each teams' picks in this years draft based on round/pick number.

so based on draft pick/trade value, cleveland's picks are more than three times as valuable as buffalo's.

Lol, no. If you look on the graph, it says "Total of all 2015 draft picks".

They took the average carrer values of each player ever drafted at each position in the draft.  Juxtaposed that with each teams current 2015 Draft picks.  Then they assigned an over all value based on those factors.

If your high on the chart you have a statistically better chance of landing high quality players more often than those lower on the list.

MR. Scot is correct.

It's not a difficult concept to understand....each pick or spot in the draft automatically is assigned a value. The only issue is that each draft has a different amount of talent. In this draft, there are said to only be 20 1st round grades, which should mean picks in the 20's should have a lower amount of points than in years with a ton of first round talent. Same goes with middle and late rounds.

TLDR; The point system is somewhat, but not fully bullshit.
