you are partly correct... people that hurl insults and racial slurs over a joke (or anything, for that matter) are the ones getting the bad look.

It was only 10pm here and I just finished watching 19 kids and counting. Had to cap off the night.

Eh, I think everyone knew there was a better than 50% chance it was a joke. Especially when he said he wouldn't announce it until early April 1st.
