How many folks remember the Sports Illustrated April Fools cover story about Sid Finch? Now that was a classic. If you are capable of creating something that innovative. You deserve the right to prank.

Yeah, I don't see the huge problem with a little fun. As someone stated if it's actually a good believable thread that gets peoples balls to drop to the floor let it stick around. The excess others just delete it. It's literally one day, I think everyone will be ok.
