Falcons fined $350,000 and lose 2016 fifth round draft pick

We get 2 5th rd picks...huddle jumps for joy at the possibilities. They lose a 5th..."that pick ain't worth poo! Weak sauce!"

SMH

Our GM is way better at drafting then theirs but a fifth round loss for them is nothing in relative terms for losing value in the grand scheme of things.

Goodell has his favorites....

Well to be fair, the person doing the picking does make a difference.

Absolutely agree but perspective and expectations are what's at work in this thread. Everyone WANTED the Falcons to lose a higher rd draft pick and then are upset when they didn't. That's a failure of expectations.

Perspective is identifying the value of a 5th rd pick and one of our division rivals is losing that value. While maybe they don't have gettlemagic, they still lose that value.

Or we could all just shake our fists at the clouds. Perhaps I'm generally too optimistic but...nah...I like my perspective.

Winner winner chicken dinner. The Falcons are now worse than the Saints as far as I'm concerned.

I don't wish injuries to anyone, but I hope that they're 1st and 2nd round picks are both busts. Karma has to be watching this right?

Karma? Oh boo hoo we pumped in a little extra noise. That's really nothing and even Goodell knows it. Punishment was correct. If this had happened to the Panthers you'd think the same.
