Why I think Owamagbe Odighizuwa will be the pick and should be the pick.

And that makes Jerry a F'n hypocrite. . So he's good with paying people who commit some crimes and not elite players for others..

It also looks bad on Gettlemen because your reasoning for not giving Greg a long-term deal is the same reasoning you don't draft Gregory. .

Who again doesn't fit our scheme..

So Jerry should take all players in the draft who have ever been in any sort of trouble or made bad decisions and lump them in with Greg Hardy so as not to be a hypocrite?

Greg Hardy wasn't brought back to the team because the team didn't think he could go a stretch of time without doing something stupid.

He then did something stupid, and confirmed their fears.

So how does that make them hypocrites because they could do their due diligence and draft someone else that may or may not exhibit bad decision making?

They shouldn't all be lumped together man that's absurd.

A lot of teams have failed using 3-4 outside linebackers as rushing 4-3 defensive ends.

I don't think if we pickup Gregory he'd have a hard time beating out Adarius Glanton for playing time as a 4-3 outside linebacker that also happens to rush the QB in some packages.

Their is a major difference in a 3-4 outside LB and a 4-3 outside LB..

Gregory is a 3-4 player he doesn't have a fit in a 4-3 scheme. .

This ain't got poo to do with a lying bitch using the system. .

,

Voth, IGo, and all the other Beat writers have said the decision on Hardy not coming back was made before the alleged incident. .

And it was all about not trusting him making good decisions. .

Guess what this kid is already showing he makes dumb decisions. .

he was found guilty by a judge and eventually settled it out of court. pretty much admission of guilt. enough with the retarded conspiracy theories

Steve beat up Bright and Lucas way more than Greg allegedly did to Holder..

1 still doesn't have full use of his eye and the other is on Ski trips and shopping sprees..

You're being hyperbolic. And what Steve did is totally uncool. But you can't equate the act with the result. Two men got into a fight. Ok. A DE assaulted a woman allegedly. Clearly you see the obvious difference.

Ok so in your opinion..

Is DGB also a option??

He is a way better fit a way better talent and a "kid being a kid" works as well..

Hardy dropped to the 6th round for the same "kid being a kid excuse" .. Now let's use a 1st round pick on a dumbass who in reality isn't a 4-3 DE anyway..

lol

he dropped because his production fell off and he got benched.

Genuininity? I'm pretty sure that's not a word. [emoji12]

    • Yeah and I am doubtful he can offer that consistently. I don’t have many years left at my age and in my view we have wasted two and this whole exercise with him was always a three year minimum.  I am out on that with a guy I don’t believe in, and never believed in, it has sucked. To me it is a costly detour off the right track. Years.    But I am not so rigid that I can’t see excellence. He needs to display it though, consistently before I change my outlook.
    • No, when I said rage, I meant rage, which only applies to certain fans on this board. Your timeline of trying to assess whether he is the future or not is really tied to the discussions surrounding his second contract. If this team is going to commit to some monster contract while he has shown nothing but glimpses of brilliance would be deservedly worrisome, so the clock is genuinely ticking for him to settle into something resembling his final form. Perhaps a best case scenario is that he plays well, the team succeeds, but he does so with a more limited role that makes the rest of the league view him as a game manager, and his second contract value reflects that. Then he continues to improve and becomes a bargain comparatively while not handicapping the team around him, and we enter an era of consistent championship competitiveness that the fanbase has craved for decades and has never really experienced before. But that requires many, many things to go right and for Bryce himself to facilitate that if he ends up being the quarterback of the future.
    • Exactly. And the flame throwers as well, get location benefits from not going all out. But they have it in reserve.  Not sure how much Greg had but he was an artist.  There was a YouTube I came across last year or maybe even 2023 and I don’t how to even find now but it had two NFL QBs I want say one was Carr from the Raiders but I don’t really remember  The point of it is they stood side by side throwing identical distances to identical targets. Radar gun was used.  They threw the normal effort (not all out) and it was measured etc. Then they were asked to throw their ‘fastball’. They were missing and most often they were missing high. It demonstrated the same principle.    edit: and applying that to arm strength, give me the guy that doesn’t need max effort to have good velocity. The margins are so narrow with less velocity in tne NFL the defenders can Close on it and this is a league where they value down to the 100th of a second level. It is that tight
