Boykin had been looking for a place that will give him a good shot at playing time at WR. This is NOT just a special teams signing.

Possible. I wouldn't put it as higher than the fourth or fifth receiver though (unless he surprises).

Free agent WR Jarrett Boykin will visit the Panthers.

Boykin had as many drops as catches in 2014 (three each). That's a nightmare season. The good news is, he's only 25 and the Panthers don't have much depth at wideout behind Kelvin Benjamin and Jerricho Cotchery. Wouldn't want to have to rely on him to play a major role, but if he can contribute on ST while also upgrading the bottom of the WR depth chart then this will be a win.  Bersin replacement?
