How? I have two OT's, a RB and a receiver. Include Benjamin, Cotchery or FA, Ginn, Brown, and Olsen. That's pretty good, IMO.

The first person that could contribute to the offense this season would be from the 4th round. Ogbuehi is injured and will rehab through the season.

You would really expect to draft an offensive guy in the first 2 rounds.

If that is Cam's wr Corp at the start of the season than Gettlemen failed in his mission to give Cam help in the passing game. .

There is no way you come out of this deep WR class and still have sorry ass Cotchery as a number 2 WR on this team.. Every analyst and football commentator and beat writer says the same thing.. "You have to give Cam some weapons and protection".. We already have a super bowl ready defense. . What is holding us back is our offense. . Every body could see the lack of explosive weapons cost us in Seattle.. You can't run out the same garbage and asked Cam to make them champions. .

But we signed future HOF Ted Ginn and have Bersin (some are calling Bersin the "Blonde Haired OBJ"). Throw in Cotchery and Brown and the Panthers still have a top 32 WR core in the league.

I agree. It is completely unacceptable to not give Cam a legitimate weapon this season. We need a number 2 NOW - not five years down the road when our core will begin to expire.

personally, I'd rather have KB as our #2 receiver and hopefully draft a #1 if there is one available in the draft. if we can't find a #1 in the draft or via FA, we may as well continue to strengthen our defense, as we can lean on them to keep games within reach despite a low scoring offense.

OTs take longer to develop than do defensive players and I think we have added good additions/upgrades to our line via FA. I think, with what we have and adding some more talent through the draft, we are a playoff team at worst and a Championship contender as long as we can avoid the injury bug.

If a #1 WR is available at #25 we should go that route, otherwise, we should go Shaq Thompson who can give us our replacement for TD as he is most likely beginning to decline in his abilities.
