It would be great if Hill would turn into the player that many folks here thought he would be when they argued so vehemently why we should draft him. Maybe with time and with Proehl's tutelage he can turn into a sure handed receiver. He has the size and speed which are 2 qualities you can't coach. Other than desire , everything else can be taught and learned.

That would be great, but all I hear is coach speak as I read between the lines.  Nice to hear that Hill has apparently taken it upon himself to get out of his own way and learn. Hopefully Rivera's positive words will translate to the field.  If it does, then that would go a long way towards my own relaxation.

 

Basically, it sounds like Hill is finally going to get his shot in our receiving corps, and that's a good thing.  Once we actually sign him to an active player contract, then I may get a little excited.

I call a smokescreen. Why is this information coming out now? Stephen Hill, who is on vacation, all of a sudden now knows enough of the playbook to make a "difference" on Sundays.

 

This information seems all to convenient to come out now a month before the 2015 draft.

Wr4: Brown

Wr5: Hill

Doesn't leave much space for a drafted rookie, even though we'd all love one.
