Panthers worked out Randy Gregory

Kuech the Sneak

Recommended Posts

He reminds me a lot of John Abraham (6'4 and 250lbs)... Just insane first step.  He's not super physical type of a rusher like Charles Johnson, he's pure speed and first punch can put OL on their ass.  He would be an absolute monster SLB...  He's fast, can drop into coverage and amazing blitzer.  Imaging Davis, Luke and Gregory behind our DL.

I think Gettleman and Rivera knew he failed drug test, that's why they interviewed him because they expect him to free fall in first round.  If he's there, he's ours.

Screw the morals part. The issue is a guy couldn't pass a damn drug test that he's known the date of for years. That's just stupid. How can you trust him to not get suspended?

Worked out well for Justin Houston and the Chiefs.

Gregory did not have to reveal that he failed drug test.  It's a private information known only to him, medical staff and teams.  Why making this information public?  Making this information public will only increase his downfall on day 1 because it creates public negativity.

Also, Panthers knew about his failed drug test probably over a month ago.

The fix is in! Gregory to the Panthers at 57 overall.

"it's well documented that Gregory is an extremely intelligent kid ... I would say he picked up Bo Pelini's "mult-variable calculus based defense" pretty quick. I can see why a NFL defensive coordinator might be drooling at the thought of getting Gregory."
