Schefter: Falcons discipline expected to be "severe"

Schefter and I apparently have different ideas on what 'severe' means.

Just as a note of reference, the Falcons last 5th round draft picks in recent years:

2014: Ricardo Allen (CB), Marquis Spruill (LB)

2013: Stansly Maponga (DE)

2012: Bradie Ewing (FB), Jonathan Massaquoi (LB)

2011: Jacquizz Rodgers (RB)

2010: Dominique Franks (CB), Kerry Meier (WR)

 

Ewing and Massaquoi is no longer on the team, Spruill was on IR last year, Maponga has 8 tackles and a sack in his career, Allen wasn't on the active roster until the team suffered injuries, Franks and Meiers are free agents. The most productive one is Jacquizz Rodgers, so this "discipline" probably helped them given their record of drafting poorly.
