GDT: Nets @ Hornets

Once the nets took the lead, I knew it was over.

Oh well... Onto the NFL Draft. Clifford is a fuging idiot and I hope his ass gets fired... Otherwise, we're going to be dealing with the same poo every year because of his fuging Larry Brown-esque ego-driven assholishness.

Biz should've been in that fuging game as soon as Lopez hit 20. You don't stop a guy by scoring on the other end... But, that's life with AL and Clifford. Also, great strategy having hendo inbound the ball, lol.

I hate the way this season started, and I hate the way it's ending. Furthermore, I love kemba, but as I said before, he should've sat his ass out the rest of the season and just came back 100% for next season.

I still don't know why Cliff doesn't just play Biz With Al. Maxiell doesn't offer any spacing at the 4 and Al can at least hit open 15 to 20 foot jumpers. There would at least be some rim protection in the middle. If we miss the playoffs and don't fire Clifford what is the point of even caring about the draft. It's not like the prospect we get will even see the floor next year.

At this point it's getting so comical that it seems like Clifford is trying to get fired.

I posted this sentiment in another thread yesterday. I'm starting think he legitimately wants out of Charlotte. IMO, I think Clifford was against the Stephenson signing and Vonleh selection.

Either that or he went from a good coach to brain dead in one season.

I think he's got a great basketball mind and I can appreciate how candid he is with the media and he can turn things around for a young team, but he's not very good at making adjustments in-game and is stuck in his old 1980s NBA ways. It's like the worst of Rivera meets the worst of Fox.

It's not that he went brain dead, it's just that all the breaks we had to get last year just to get that team into the playoffs aren't happening this year. Health down the stretch, team chemistry, worse opponents, it's all gone the other way this year as if we're making up for lost time last season. And yet, through all the adversity, at times when drastic changes needed to be made, Clifford has continued to stick to his plan to the detriment of the team's playoff chances.

I believe we now have the 9th best odds at the lottery. I know sentimentally folks still want to make the playoffs, but the gap from 9 to 15 is alot more significant in the draft than it was when we weren't looking up at Boston or Brooklyn.

So, for your viewing pleasure, here's Mario Hezonja. Soundtrack may not be your cup of tea...

Is it possible Cliff has been informed by the higher ups to tank the end of the season but they don't want it to be obvious. That way the "stars" still play but Cliff just use weird rotations.

That's not how tanking works. If he actually wanted to tank the season al would be shut down for the year and we would see the bench players extensively.

Clifford hasnt given up, its just the rotations he keeps using don't work
