LOL did someone really say trade our 5th and 6th for a 3rd? Yea no one would do that, especially in today's game...learn to NFL man. Whoever would give up their 3rd for that would basically have to fire themself.

Well excuse the fug outta me. Must've left my draft pick value chart at the office. Thank God for you good sir or this travesty may have gone unnoticed!!

Revis was cut by his previous team, therefore he doesn't factor in the equation.

Yep which is why Oher and Ginn and potentially Jennings are nice signings because they don't count in the equation since they were all released.

Also, Jerry must have finally cashed in a favor to get Hixon to qualify and have Webb not. Hixon retired before the training camp even started and Webb while mostly playing special teams was actually a contributing member of the roster.

If you are curious was sort of gems we have unearthed in the past... Geoff Schwartz, Geoff Hangartner, and Brad Nortman top the list.....

Gettleman has never had a compensatory selection because he's had to cut bad contracts, not let them leave.

Pretty sure compensatory picks never go higher than the third round.

That is correct. and the end of the third at that. The best compensatory pick imaginable would be 97th overall or the 33rd pick in the 3rd round. Barring forfeited picks of course.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, the last time we picked 97th overall.....we Fuad up.

Pie for anyone who knows who our 5th and 6th picks were during gettlemans tenure.. To lazy to look it up and can't Remeber off the top of my head.. Last year was bene and gaffney if I recall correctly

I'm kinda hoping we don't use our sixth on a runningback this year.

Taking sixth round runningbacks in the past few drafts hasn't gone so well.
