Greg Jennings Leaves Without Contract...

You should probably use common sense to realize that if he came for a visit and there is no news that he signed a contract, then he probably left without signing a contract.

But that may just be me.

I guess you equate using common sense with committing the false dilemma fallacy. In fact, there's a 3rd option between "signed a contract" and "left without signing," namely "hasn't left yet."

People on this site just like to complain. Then complain about other posters complaining. Kind of like I'm doing right now. Thanks though. I don't want to sift through multiple pages. This needed its own thread.

I'm getting annoyed by the multiple complaints every time someone starts a thread. I, for one, am happy this thread was started, because I did not wish to read every single post in the earlier thread about Greg Jennings, and so, wouldn't have known he left without a contract unless I looked at another site. If Greg Jennings had signed a contract, would you complain about someone starting a different thread on that, too? No, because "He signed" is noteworthy news relative to "He's coming to visit." And so is "He didn't sign." Pie to the OP.

Yep, fug the whiny bitches. Most who start threads like they were corn popping in a hot skillet.

I'm trying to find where between pages 1 and 4 he announced he wasn't signing here, since it somehow became a foregone conclusion in that time.

No the only whining is the douche bags who make all in one Free Agent threads, then make dozens of single Free Agent threads, then complain when someone else makes a single Free Agent thread.

its possible that the panthers are weighing their options, not Jennings.  They are still waiting to see what Alan Ball does possibly.  They may not have the cap to sign both.  They might prefer to sign Ball because they like the WR better in the draft.  Who knows.  They are taking this day by day.  It's a process.  It is what it is.

It's fine that he left without a contract, he's made it known that he wants to explore his options. But there's no other team out there that gives him the combination of his stated desires, a chance to mentor, a place for his family, et al, and the opportunity to win games. If he values those two over dollars and cents, he'll end up as a Panther.
