Who will be our next Greg Hardy? (In a good way...)

Who do you guys see as being our next Hardy?

What I mean by that is: which one of our youngsters (does not have to be a d-lineman) do you see developing to be a dominant, elite player at his position within the next two seasons that isn't at that level yet?

We picked Hardy late in the draft knowing he had ability and it took him a couple years to get going, but when he did, he was top 5 if not better at his position. All the tools, just needed the coaching.

What player(s) do you see that fit that mold?

 Preston Smith DE MSSTATE

I think both Bene and Norman will be #1 caliber CB's and each have their own attributes to attack opposing CBs differently. At the DE spot I do believe Ealy can be a good starter. How good ? We dont know. But he's off to a better start to his career then Hardy and CJ were. You can tell he's strong as hell, athletic and well sculpted like Hardy. So it's possible we won't miss the Kraken all that much.

Everette Brown.

Possibly Eric Shelton, he can become a bruiser in our system.

Don't even get me started on that Dwayne Jarrett kid, he has Keyshawn Johnson written all over him.

The funny thing is, even though I wasn't excited when we drafted Shelton, I decided to watch his highlights over and over again...and the dude looked like a man among boys at Louisville.

He had quite the highlight reel of just blowing defenders up lol.

Then of course he busted. Talk about a roller coaster. I was meh, then overly excited, then disappointed.

In that case, he could have just asked "who will be good?"

If anything, I'm asking who you think will be elite.

We have a bunch of players that will be good.

Hardy developed into a pass rushing, gun toting, hoe loving superstar end. One of the best in the league at his position.

Who do you think can make the jump to elite status in the next few years?

...preferably minus the guns and hoes...

Haha I actually don't remember much about Shelton besides the fact that he was a second rounder and was expected to be our new Stephen Davis.

That list obviously was a joke but the one guy on there that disappointed me was D.Jarrett I saw so much potential and thought that we'd finally drafted Steve's sidekick (or what we finally have in Kelvin Benjamin.) I was sorely wrong. Sorely.

Hardy just had that personality that we loved as fans. He was active on social media and wore war paint on game day. On top of that, he was able to back it all up. Besides the off-field stuff, he was perfect for fans.

Norman may have the energy similar to that. He just needs to be a little more consistent. Everyone loves the emotion on gameday. I think we like these type of players.
