Boston was reach and I said you could have taken Bene then , there are options if you didn't think he would last through the next rd. Don't read what you want read what is written. But , I highly doubt Bene would have been gone before our original 5th spot either. Either way we wasted a pick to move up for Bene when he could  have been had without the trade and we still could have gotten the same players plus 1. Yes I know Boston would still be there at 5.

don't see the genius, first few rounds were ok but he really messed up later rounds. Horrible trade for Bene , could have gotten the same picks and not given up a 7th. The best pick was Turner as KB was a no brainer . Ealy was a value pick but would much rather have Jarvis Landry from your list. The Boston pick was a big reach where Bene would not have been so much a reach at 4  or could have gone with De Anthony Thomas at 4 and still get Bene at our original 5 spot. could have gotten Boston in 6th.

Obviously Gettleman made the trade thinking that Bene wouldn't last. We got a damn good player in the 5th round and only gave up a 7th.

This is like bitching about making a killing off of investing in penny stocks because you didn't get in on them at their rock bottom.

way too early to call this draft a slam dunk. tons of players exploded their rookie years and then did nothing after. the player im mostly worried about is KB

Also too early because some of these players that are being poo pooed could break out later.

We missed out on some good receivers. The draft was good, but not genius IMO.

Let people have their hug fest though. I like G-man, but he still has a lot to prove as our GM.

Allen Robinson may turn out to be the bigger fish. He was outproducing Landry before his injury.

I think that he'll turn out to be a very good receiver. He was really coming on before he got derailed.

Davante Adams is also one of those guys who will only get better, in my opinion. I don't his numbers this year will be indicative of his career.
