Ski blades

I'm in Killington, Vermont about to try ski blading for the first time.

I'm a fairly decent skiier and I can kinda sorta snowboard. Does anyone have some quick advice before I try not to break myself in half?

I'm getting murdered out there on blades. I brought skis too but I really wanted to try these blades.

I haven't been on my ass this much since the very first time I tried snowboarding.

Hell I thought blades were easier than snowboarding and skiis. I learned on then, but I was a 90's kid and learned roller blades which are almost the same

Doesn't happen here. So many broads I at the lodge that look like they're wearing armor to go skiing.

Yeah that's what I was told. Problem is that I sucked at roller blades too.

I'm taking the skis out tomorrow. The blades aren't for me.

I have blades. I actually really like them a lot. They're easy as hell to me. I can cruise on them and cut the hell around some moguls.

Yeah I decided to take them back out today. I was getting the hang of it.

I feel like I have a lot more control at slower speeds and not nearly enough when I'm going faster. I'm sure that's a mental hurdle I have to jump, but it'll have to wait until next ski season
