Injuries incurred playing for the school are payed for/insured by the school.

James Andrews is the team doctor for Auburn and Bama. With Oregon's Nike money, I'm sure they have a top orthopedic surgeon on retainer or speed dial just like Auburn and Bama.

If the kid's joint is repairable, I'm sure he'll be just fine like thousands of others who have ACL surgery and come back as or almost as good as new.

I see I was mistaken, thanks.

Still, do not want a nickel coming off an ACL tear in such early rounds.

Saw his highlights about two months ago and currently have him ranked #2 behind only Kevin Johnson from wake forest. He does have Excellent ball skills and football instincts. Honestly his basement floor is captain munnerlyn he really knows the game and he has that small man/smitty attitude as well. All in all I wouldn't mind him in round 3 or 2 depending on who is/isn't available

Same here. As I stated in the CB thread, I think he would excel as a slot/nickel corner.

He is small and coming off an ACL injury. No thanks

Small only in height. But sits at almost 200 pounds at 5'9. Jason verett excelled at cb for the chargers being almost the same size or smaller. Not to mention the honey baget went in the second being smaller and is productive without the coverage skills. A first round talent like this in the second or 3rd would be great value.

He is projected by some outsiders to be a first rounder, but we (as you know) aren't aware of what round a team projects to draft him--I think we are looking second round, because he could drop

Well right now im seeing Gurley doesn't even make it to us at 25. With the chargers picking him.

I have seen that too.  He might be working out for teams and giving them confidence.  However, I have seen him in the late second round.  Devalued position, ACL, etc.

I can def. see the possibility of him going in the first, but I can see him falling too.
