I'm expecting 3 or 4 games too.

That'd allow the league to crow that they're handing out bigger punishment than they gave Ray Rice, but it's not so long that he can claim they used the new policy.

I'm starting to come around to the belief that they will suspend him for 6 games, knowing it will be appealed and likely reduced.

That way they can say "we suspended 6 games but courts took it out of our hands" and kinda wipe their hands clean and still plausibly say they are being tough on domestic violence.

Holder story is rediculous. I don't believe her at all.

I don't think Hardy is 100% innocent. But i believe his overall story more than hers although I don't believe him fully either

I doubt they want another court loss.  The court has already basically told them that they can't retroactively apply rules, which could easily be argued that they would be doing in that scenario.

Yeah maybe. I am just speculating. But from a PR perspective it would look better to suspend him for 6 and make him go through the process. That way NFL can look credible on being tough on domestic abuse, even if it gets reduced.

The only reason they are losing is because of retroactive punishment and that won't happen again after this case.

Keeps Dallas off the hook for any "down time" due to unforeseen shenanigans and gives GH a big incentive to steer clear of trouble in his free time.

That's not exactly a newsflash, nor has it been for months You obviously took this as the post to get your little dig in there, despite the fact that my response about Hardy's or Holder's innocence, either in part or in full, have nothing to do with your ill-timed and ill-conceived post.
