I am pissed, I need a new Panthers Beanie for Sunday so I don't freeze and everywhere is sold out here in Charlotte.

I saw some at the Dicks in Matthews today...I think...call them first. And I think they might have had them at a store called Lids at Carolina Place Mall as well - again, call them first. I was looking for something else at the time. There are at least 4 or 5 sports stores at CP Mall though, so one of them is bound to have something. My daughter asked for a Panthers Santa hat and Lids had them on sale 2 for $20.

I got that semi-***** one I wore this weekend at the Walmart on Wilkinson not far from BoA. Nor a big fan of the stripes on it but I didn't care how gay it looked, just wanted my head to stay warm.

Dicks at Southpark Mall had feck all.

I almost bought one of them at the CVS I stopped at on the way home...but son #1 claims to like the Steelers, while son #2 hasn't fully committed to the Panthers yet (clinging a bit to the Iggles still). I bet they weren't 2 for $20 though.

I think we will be able to run and pass. Mose played several years in Chicago and our Steve Smith played collegiately in Utah. We should be able to move the ball with Delhomme's bionic arm which should still work in the wind. The run game should be fine as well particularly if Vincent can play.

I think this will be a defensive battle so I am still somewhat nervous about the game. Our defense can be good or bad.

Well, it actually has the potential to be.

A really cold air mass will move in along the East Coast this weekend ahead of this storm ... it could be cold enough for ice down to I-40 Sunday morning. It's probably just going to snow during the game since the main low will pass well south and east of the coast ... the question will be just how heavy it will be. The model graphic above shows 1-2 inches on the ground by 7 pm, with another inch perhaps during the game. Some other computer models, however, are showing the storm moving through sooner with most of the snow done by kickoff.

It's too early to say for sure if it will snow during the game, but there's a good chance it will.
