Seattle to trade DE Michael Bennett to Atlanta?

After Dallas signs Hardy they're gonna be left with a disgruntled player who wants more money. Lynch wanted more money, now Bennett. Who's next? All those guys aren't gonna sit around happy and jolly playing for peanuts forever. It's already happening. And they still have to pay Wilson. His salary is getting ready to jump from $2m to $20m.

Seattle's window is gonna close faster than people think.

I'd sell my left kidney to close our window on three superbowls and two wins.

Paul Allen, John Schneider, and Pete Carroll are in a league of their own. They just never stop trying to improve, while we are just content with division titles. The moves they make are genius. If they are able to get Hardy on top of Graham, I just don't see anybody stopping them instead of their OC.

Who here honestly believes the organization is fine with just division titles?

Some people here are smoking crack. How many high profile FA did the Seahawks invest in prior to this year? I'd honestly like to know because I can't think of one.

This is their window. They are looking to make the most of it.

Perhaps. But I believe you're underestimating Bennett's market value.

Why not just go all out for Hardy? He's significantly better than Bennett, would probably cost the same and you won't need to trade sh*t. But lets say that's what happens. If the Seahawks fuging end up with one of the top 3 wideouts, DGB in the 2nd, Jimmy Graham AND Hardy, I may kill myself.

Dallas will sign Hardy and Bennett will be SoL.

I'd be surprised if Dallas signs Hardy if they still have their eyes set on Adrian Peterson. It's possible but Dallas doesn't have a lot of cap space. Both would have to agree to significantly less $$ IMO.

Its like watching that shitty Draft Day movie - pick up Graham for your center + 30th pick, offload Bennet for the 8th pick and pick up Hardy for half the price.

Bennet + Unger + 30th pick for Graham + Hardy + 8th pick. Just let that sink in... They just raped the NFC South.

Don't worry, guys, big FA signings and trades NEVER amount to anything in the NFL.

Don't worry, guys, the Panthers "will be fine". As always. We're the best team in the history of the NFL ... if it weren't for some fluke every damn season: injuries, bad OC, O-Line's fault, ref's screwing us, the league screwing us, Rivera and Fox not having sack, etc.

BS- Harvin for a 1st, 3rd, and 7th. They hit a grand slam in the 2010-2012 drafts but their last two appear to be doodoo. They ARE doodoo compared to ours (ie since GMan arrived).

If DeAngelo doesn't fumble they aren't the #1 seed and champs last year. Congrats to them on what they've done, but to think they're unbeatable or the end all be all of front office and team genius is BS.

Atlanta's FO, much like many others, is above Hardy.

You're nuts if you think we want to do what Seattle are doing this year. They are putting all of their chips on the table this year, and with back to back superbowls they have every reason to believe in themselves. Next year is going to be impossible for them to manage their roster, while we will be hitting our peak. Stop being reactionary and think two steps ahead. That's what these good GMs like Schneider have been doing while we're sat here screaming about Crabtree and fugging Hakeem Nicks.
