That's all it is. Then you play FIFA. Which is football a simulator. Nothing like a TCG.

 

If you can't see the similarities to a trading card game you're blind. It's like Magic with a more exciting payoff for the cards you acquire.

I've played magic, yugioh, hearthstone. It's nothing like any of those games. It's fifa. A soccer sim. I can't believe someone can be this willfully ignorant on a subject wow

Do you collect cards to build a better roster (deck)? Yes or no? There you go, that's where it's similar. You invest resources (either time or money) into building the best roster possible, and then you pick the best deck to use on a game by game basis. The premise of the mode is built on trading card games, but you refuse to accept/admit that for some reason. Whatever, I don't care either way. The mode is lame as poo to me. The rest of FIFA is sick.

Replace the words cards/deck with players/roster. If all you can say is it has the words cards and deck in it then it's not a Trading card game. Like it's not hard to understand. It plays nothing like a TCG. That's because it isn't one. Would you call vodka water because it's clear and you can drink it? No because that's stupid. Read all you want on how fifa describes FUT. No mention of cards or decks. They use words like players and rosters. The only word they use pertaining to card based games is the word pack. And that's because you are getting a pack full of PLAYERS. Not cards. You don't build a roster full of cards you build them with players.

Obviously you know what fifa is. FUT is fifa. You don't play FUT by drawing cards and playing them. You play FUT with your squad just like you would play FIFA. I'm spelling this poo out for you.

It comes down to lazy as fug people like you and relaximapro not even understanding a game and use the least common denominator to try to describe something you don't even play or like. You admit you don't even like it or waste your time with it. You have the other admit the same but you are going to argue with someone who actually plays who actually knows what the mode is and isn't like on.

It would be like a British person calling the president the king of the United States and an American being like no actually it's nothing like that. Then the British person being like "he's in charge isn't he? He's the king. But I wouldn't know anything about being American just seems lame to me so I don't waste my time with that"

Are you this dumb? I seriously can't believe you are this dumb.

I mean I get it. You don't want to invest time or money into it so you completely write the mode off " oh it's just a lame dumb trading card game sounds stupid like yugioh" and you can convince your ignorant fuging self to believe that's actually what it is and you cant possibly fathom that what you thought of the mode is nothing like what it actually is.

And I'm sorry, but in regular FIFA you can't have different versions of the exact same player on one roster (can't start both but whatever), so no....it's not like "regular FIFA".

Either way this is my last post on this because you're getting defensive as poo and resulting to insults on something that is really dumb to begin with. I think FUT's premise is based on the ideas of trading card games and is a really terrible game mode. You don't agree, cool. I don't agree with you. No reason to get defensive and start slinging insults like an internet tough guy.
