At this point Hardy is probably looking at a 1yr deal that won't break the bank.  No team wants to spend a bunch of money on a player with the kind of baggage he has.  Especially after the Ray Rice fiasco.  Rice's career looks like it's over, and Hardy is struggling to find a new home.  He's too talented not to sign somewhere but no one is "backing up the Brinks truck" like he said after the 2013 season.

we will not be getting anything for because he only played one game which means, since he played so little we don't get compensation to replace that product because he only played 50 or 60 snaps last year.

I had a feeling he was going to be a Cowboy. They need defensive help and are popular enough to weather the ignorant backlash that signing him could bring.
