And, it would be impossible for the DA to bring witness tampering without either Holder testifying to that or a written agreement stating the conditions of the payments. Neither are likely to exist.

I am not saying he was guilty...just that him paying and her going away does not make him innocent.

 

Regardless of what it appears to be, unless you were there and witnessed money changing hands, how do you claim so definitively she was paid off? Sure, we all know that's probably what happened, but making such definitive statements are legally considered to be slanderous and amount to false accusations.

 

If the DA or other officials involved with the case made the same statement as you, Hardy would be more than justified in filing a lawsuit for slander or defamation in making such false claims. And as long as no one can confirm anything, everything is pure speculation.

I wouldn't say he was average at best. He had 3 sacks as a rookie without starting. 4 the next year. Then 11. Then 15. He's in his prime and could have had 16+ this year.

Make no mistake, the NFL took our Lombardi. With him we win it IMHO. Bitter every time I think about it.

Alexander is also still on his rookie contract.  Hardy would still be on the roster if he was on his, too.  What's your point here?  It's about taking on a NEW player with baggage, not keeping one that's already under contract.

Also, I'm sure he'd have the same view points if Nicole Holder was his sister.

I'm not having a melt down over Hardy, I'm having a melt down over the thought of how good SEA will be with him. You know there is a thing called a Super Bowl and I would like to see it at some point with the Panthers in it. All I ask for is the raiders or Dallas to pay the man big time and keep him the hell away from SEA.

If you have ever worked in or around a court room or police station you will understand this. Being guilty you have way more rights than the victim and that courts side with women. Women can kill there husband's and walk away free but it does not work the other way around. I've seen women beaten, beaten to the point there face looks like a slab of steak. Yet they never press charges. I've also seen women have there boyfriends arrested because they(the woman) were hitting them(the guy). They always ask why are you arresting me, my awnser is welcome to domestic.

Yeah... That's the point. It means absolutely nothing to say "oh yeah guys totallyyyyy knew fans would be upset about losing greg Hardy to another team"

Every fan base would be upset seeing one of their stars go to another team.
