I love mountain sports and endurance sports.

For some reason to me I've always considered sports that could have a practical application to real life, to be more of a true sport then a game.

I've started playing disc golf recently. I'm not very good, but it's pretty good exercise if you keep up a decent pace. It's also very inexpensive other than purchasing your discs and accessories as the courses are generally free.

I third disc golf. I've been a PDGA member the last two years. It's a great, social sport. It's really easy to join up with some people already playing. You'll usually learn a lot this way.

I'd be down to get a round going sometime. Charlotte is the disc golf capital of the south.

P.S. Just because I'm a member doesn't mean I'm good. You just get discount entries into tournaments.
