So Ron Rivera shows up to a Warriors game in Cali to hand deliver a custom Panthers jersey to Curry for his Birthday?

Is MJ pulling a super under the table marketing campaign to get him here? Unless Curry and Ron are super close friends I dont know why I'd fly to the other side of the country for that.

He was at Cal (his Alma Mater) for a basketball game and probably just to visit friends and family. I think his daughter is still at UCLA too.

By the time I get to the Huddle after jumping up, fist pumping, smiling, screaming and hollering "hell yeah", my Huddle reaction will probably be kind of muted. But, during last year's draft when we got on the clock, I was telling my son that Gettleman was gonna go all conservative and pick Marquise Lee, but when we picked Kelvin Benjamin I did all of the above. I just don't think they are in the cards.  Crabtree and Johnson are likely going to get paid way too much for our budget.  Plus, if the Patriots give Johnson an offer, I don't see how he would pass that up to come here.  You know the money will probably be more or similar to what we'd offer, and, frankly, the Pats are the Pats.

I'm surprised the Warriors brass agreed to let Riverboat Ron into their locker room to plant said seeds. They should have known what's up.
