David Newton's latest mailbag provides some tidbits for thought, and reaffirmation that the draft is king for G-man in regards to WR.

Well to be fair, Shockey was a party boy and not accused of beating a woman. I think JR, or anyone else, could have a limit of non choirboy behavior. It's not unlikely that Kraken went too far even for the non choirboy loving JR (minus the tattoos of course because that's well nigh unforgivable).

I'd say the limit stops at the point that the behavior becomes violent or criminal and could possibly result in suspension, thereby removing the player from the team and preventing them from using him.

There's a difference between not being a choir boy and being accused of domestic violence involving sofas lined with fire arms. Flame me all you want, but Hardy, for all his talents, was equally an idiot when it came to life decisions. The last one cost him his job here.
