For the "Cam ain't got weapons" crowd.

That's Hurney era. Hindsight 20/20 it's pretty to point that it's bad huh. Who saw it coming that Dwill was going to be ass, and injury to Beason.

Um, anyone who follows football knew these were bad signings that would haunt the Panthes for years and years.  Those signings are why DG is here, and why I believe we are going to be a legit football team again.

You are clamoring for the same stupid signings again, along with most of the younger posters.

It is a great philosophy to have and has obviously led to a great number of super bowls. But Ron got the job, I am assuming, because he is known as a great defensive mind.

It's like the Jets under Rex. Why were they constantly stacking up on the defense while their offense could use a complete and total make over? Isn't Rex supposed to be a genius guru? (No, I am not saying we are the Jets)

If I hired Chip Kelly, I am not then going to load up on offense. You got the job because you could do more with less. Prove it.

That is the only thing I really question about this specific approach we are taking.

That makes sense, and I've thought about this in the past, "so and so is a D-coordinator so he should be able to work with inferior defensive talent and make them respectable, all the while we're stack up on O which is his weakness."

On the flip side you can give a D-coordinator defensive talent, and have the potential to be dominant on that side of the ball and run the ball and control the clock on O.

I guess there not one way to do it. As far as the Jets, their downfall was the QB position, but we already have that, we just don't have the O talent around him which I don't think we need if our D is dominant.

Cam has always had one of the best receivers in the game, very good TE, and two good running backs.

He's always had weapons around him.

You can have more than 1 wr.. it is allowed. . And the 2 good RB'S have always been injured. .

People need to be honest. . Cam has been asked to do more with less since he's been here.. And he was completely set up to get "David Carr treatment" last year..

Hopefully Gettlemen is planning to do what he said at the end of the season. ..

"We have to protect Cam and get him more weapons to work with"..

You're just being a good fan. Supporting every moves whether that's good or bad. Mostly bad

Was I being a bad fan when I was screaming at the top of my lungs to not sign these overrated players to stupid contracts 4-5 years ago?

Wonder what has changed...it's not you, who supported overpaying these players...

No.

Sorry but KB isn't one of the best WR in the league right now and our running game hasn't been good since Cam entered the league.

i never said anything about can't have a number 2 receiver. It hasn't been for a lack or trying.

It just hasn't panned out.

Our running backs weren't the problem, injuries along the oline, and the oline constantly being in flux was the issue with the running game.

I am being honest, so take your "holier-than-thou" attitude and stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

Gettleman knows how to run a team. It's been evident since he's been here.

Please look at Andrew Luck's rookie teammates, and compare them to Cam's.

Luck, Fleener, Allen, Hilton, Wayne, and Ballard.

Newton, Smith, Olsen, Shockey, Williams, Stewart, LaFell.

Who had more weapons?

This is in response to the "more with less" thing, BTW.

The panthers are not about building around Cam. Most franchises are about building around their QB. This what make things strange around here. Pick a QB #1 overall and then draft defensive players. Either someone was trying to be too smart and don't know what they're doing.

This isn't true, and if it were, don't you think it would be wise to build the D as quickly as possible to beat these teams?
