Yet the Saints are trying to trade 1/2 of that CB tandem

Gilbert arguably had a worse season than manziel. But yeah i guess draft position = succes.

But the notion that saints has the Best Cb tandem is laughable at Best.

 

I am aware Gilbert blows, I just think Haden is better than Allen and Browner combined. =P

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Saints are shopping LCB Keenan Lewis.

Lewis asked for his release from the Saints earlier this week. He reportedly has concerns about his long-term future with the team, but is unlikely to draw any trade-interest with three years remaining on his contract. Coming off a down 2014, Lewis is owed $3 million in salary and bonuses.

Browner's one of the most overrated corners in the league. They definitely have a formidable duo of corners and Lewis is the real deal, but to say they have the best CB tandem is ridiculous.

Browner has always played opposite a great corner. Not to say he isn't a good corner in his own right but he doesn't routinely line up against number 1s
