Do Gettleman's comments on Oher...

My ONLY concern with Gettleman stems from last year. He went into an NFL season with Bell. Chandler, and Foucault as our OT options. That is some scary poop. So with that in mind, I think Oher at LT means that Gettleman will take WR, CB, OT, DE, or DT. Whatever he feels is the best player at that point in time.

I would love the possibility of drafting a top LT and not having to throw him directly in the fire from day 1 unless he truly won the position. Imagine not having another slow start while they all learn and develop chemistry. Imagine having a veteran line who can perform well right off the bat.

For those that are nervous about Oher, just take a look into your memory banks and remember that we survived an entire year with Byron Bell as our LT, or should I say Cam survived [emoji3]

Very scary...Jesus when the majority of huddlers are right and the GM/coaches are wrong that's like Armageddon fuging scary...like Jarrett scary...

...make you think there's a higher chance that our 'BPA' in Round One of The NFL Draft will be a receiver?

Or do you think it's still just as likely that pick could go toward a left tackle?

(assume players of equal value are available at both positions when our pick comes up)

The comments tell us what the plan is for this offseason. The two year contract with a cheap out after 1 tells me we intend to place our eggs in other baskets. I still expect a Tackle to be drafted if it makes sense. We won't "reach". But we still need 2 stud tackles in the next few years.
