Do Gettleman's comments on Oher...

...make you think there's a higher chance that our 'BPA' in Round One of The NFL Draft will be a receiver?

Or do you think it's still just as likely that pick could go toward a left tackle?

(assume players of equal value are available at both positions when our pick comes up)

If we don't sign another WR or two this FA period I'm certain DG is confident he can get a game-changer with top value in the first 3 rounds. I think it's more likely we go defense in round 1, because there will probably be a run on OTs and WRs and a huge talent like Landon Collins or Shaq Thompson will fall, but rounds 2 and 3 I see WR being a strong possibility. I hope we can get Agholor in the 2nd. I still think we may draft a OT early if a good value is there but I think DG may not be confident an OT worthy of our pick will fall to us in the 1st or 2nd.

I think it could go either way. I focus on the fact he used the word "can" as in its up to Oher to hold the spot if he wants it bad enough but he will always upgrade a position an opportunity presents itself. I'm sure he's combing through other teams rosters looking for possible cuts that could provide depth and competition at least at our positions of need should the draft not fall in our favor at those positions. The WR positions will have to be complimented from the draft as the money is not there yet to add value to the core as he sees it. I can understand his approach as he really doesn't have much choice. This team still is lacking in depth and overall talent that can't be filled in one offseason. But with some luck we can field a competitive team. We all want to see this team succeed but I realize that it's going to take a little long to get where we all want this team to be. I for one think the team has a guy in charge that can build a competitive team. I also know that there is a limit to what he can do to upgrade every position that is weak on this team under the current circumstances.
