I say if Boykin is signed and beats Cotchery and Bersin in camp...

That's your 5th WR who can help on special teams as a gunner. .

Sign Britt who can be a number 2 and Draft a WR in one of the 1st 3 rounds that can develop into a 1 or 2.. Than you have KB, Britt, Rookie , Ginn, Brown and Boykin as your 6 Player WR corp..

Does Bersin even have 1 trick?

It makes you wonder, how bad was underwood?

I get the hate on bersin for special teams, and I also agree he is not winning a 40 yard dash anytime soon. However he made some miraculous catches and was clutch on 3rd down numerous times. I get he is not big name wr, but I feel he played a great role for us last year.

Keep in mind it usually takes guys two years in the pros to master route running. Routes are run different in the pros than college, sure same calls and numbers, however in the pros you have to be dead on with your routes, steps distance and timing, inside/outside leverage, jam techniques, Z receiver, lead or second blocker. It also affects other receivers or cb in play. Give him another year and I think lots of people will change their tone.

Bersin has been on our team since 2012.

2012.

Let that sink in for a second.

Lmao Philly alone is more than a one trick pony. Arguably all four are more than a one trick pony depending how detailed you want to go.

If your mad because we didn't sign a big name WR yet then find another team because we are not going to do it.

He is a 5th WR that can't play special team and never will be a starter..

Not a great option..

Beyonce says we need a upgrade. .

Show your facts

Carolina Panthers[edit]

Bersin was signed by the Carolina Panthers after going undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft.[3][4] Bersin was on the Panthers practice squad for two years before finally making the 53 man roster in 2014 after the team had lost all active receivers from the previous year

Did you not know that?

I'm just wishing we could have more versatility and more of a talent pool to fish from and get guys whode role in the team is included in more than one or two plays.

if you look at my past posts, you won't find me calling for big splash players, I love that we are building from the inside out....keeping the talent from good draft picks and improving every year as roles become more diverse and better defined.

heck, I wish all our players were those drafted by us and I don't covet other teams castoffs or signing big name urfa. we don't have the cash first off and we have no clue about how other teams players will contribute to or fit in our system.

but if their is a guy who can legitimately replace 3 of our current players or more and the trade off

in salary is comparable, I want it done.

add up Bersin, philly, hill and corchery's salary and I'll bet you we can find a pretty darn good #2/1receiver to replace them.
